this article is the NEJM justification for continuing placebo use in the vaccine tests. "Such a trial could be conducted either during a period of emergency use or immediately after licensure "

"The number of international students from India enrolled in graduate-level computer science and engineering at US universities declined by more than 25 per cent between 2016-17 and 2018-19 academic years, according to an analysis of US government data by the National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP). To place the significance of the decline in context, international students represent approximately 75 per cent of the full-time graduate students at US universities in computer science, and in the 2016-17 academic year, two-thirds of the international students at the graduate level in computer science at US universities were from India."

>Every human culture has believed in the existence of other beings, monstrous humanoids, sapient but inhuman. They have gone by different names: boogeymen, bugbear, cyclopes, giant, jotun, ogre, oni, troll, yeti, and more. But they are always feared, lurkers in the shadows, threats to the clan, tribe, or hearth. Dungeons & Dragons didn’t create these monsters, and (despite ongoing controversies) they don’t represent anything modern. Humanity’s legendary heroes have been fighting these monsters since time immemorial.

"The black market is only one way to get around vaccinating, and there are other "much simpler" methods, said Brand. "People just go to the clinic and give a certain nurse money" to dispose of vaccine doses and make a false registration, he said. The method — so widespread in Russia that it is known as "jab down the drain" — has been used for years by nurses with mothers hesitant to vaccinate their children, Brand said."

Here's how state-owned Russian media covers McAfee death     (translate.yandex.com)

John McAfee's last name is known to almost every computer user. The programmer made it the name of his antivirus — the first in the world. Today, it is second in popularity only to the Russian Kaspersky. Last year, a 74-year-old businessman was detained inSpain at the request of the US authorities. From prison, he sent a tweet: "... If I hang myself a la Epstein, it won't be my fault."On June twenty-third, McAfee was found hanged in his cell. Jeffrey Epstein was a legendary New York pimp. Among his clients were almost all VIPs in England and the United States, including Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew. In 2019, Epstein was arrested. The world waited with bated breath for his testimony. But somehow, surprisingly, Epstein committed suicide. He hanged himself in solitary confinement, where, in theory, he should have been under round-the-clock surveillance. At the autopsy, multiple fractures were found on his neck, most likely characteristic of murder. The general opinion of Americans about his death was reflected in the famous tweet of a Trump aide: Epstein was Hillaried – “Epstein was hillaried". Now, literally the same thing happened to an American entrepreneur in a Spanish prison. Similarly, there are no prerequisites for suicide. The same strange circumstances of death: like Epstein, McAfee was supposed to share a cell with another prisoner, but right before his death, for some reason, he was left alone. The Spanish authorities are also frostbitten: well, a prisoner hanged himself, what's the problem?

Globohomo fake meat pulled from Dunkin Donuts     (www.barrons.com)

Dunkin is a huge chain and they were one of many large corps that introduced fake meat to their regular menu a couple years ago and marketed it heavily in the stores. If it's being pulled from all but their handful of west-coast locations it's because no one buys it. Good news.
